The Power of Gay Love Blog Hop is here!

blog hop pic

For my contribution to The Power of Gay Love Blog Hop, I’ve dug out a few of my favourite quotes about love and matched them up with the couples I think they go best with from my books. Let me know what you think… do you have a favourite quote that you would use? I’d also love to know which of my couples you would most like to see in a short Valentine’s Day story. I might get round to writing it by February next year! If you’re not familiar with my work, then welcome and feel free to leave any comment you like, even if it’s just to say hi! All comments will be entered into a draw to win an e copy of Rasputin’s Kiss (or any book from my back list if you already have it). Don’t forget to visit all the other participants too – here’s the link you need.

Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies.– Aristotle

Garrick and Tristan from The Portrait and Black Dog

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.– Lao Tzu

Olly and Joe – Reaching the Edge.

Young love is a flame; very pretty, often very hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. The love of the older and disciplined heart is as coals, deep-burning, unquenchable.– Henry Ward Beecher

Carey and Alistair – Dancing on the Edge.

Love makes your soul crawl out from its hiding place.– Zora Neale Hurston

Ben and Lucien – Stroke Rate

Love is like quicksilver in the hand. Leave the fingers open and it stays. Clutch it, and it darts away.– Dorothy Parker

Heath and Aiden – Living on the Edge

This weekend you can also take advantage of a brilliant offer at Totally Bound. For this weekend only, The Portrait is on offer at 25% discount. This was my first published book – it’s a short read but a great introduction to my writing. Just click here if you’d like to find out more.

You’re a totally new author for me. I don’t think I’ve read anything from you yet but that’s going to change now that I’ve stumbled upon you.

I love the Aristotle quote the best. Thank you for sharing =)

I would like to see a Valentine story with Stroke Rate’s Ben and Lucien. They were very charming and domineering, “wink wink”!!

Great quotes. I especially like Olly and Joe’s. I love the Tales from the Edge so a short with any of those guys would be great. But to be fair, Olly did have one for his birthday so I guess it should be one of the other couples.

Now, off to Totally Bound to check out The Portrait…

  11. This is the first time I’ve visited your blog, but I know I’ve read The Portrait and Black Dog, maybe on Lit… Anyways, now that I’ve found you here I’ll definitely look around.

I don’t have a favorite quote but I do have three different couples I love from your books. I just can’t remember their names. Heath and Aiden from Reaching the edge, the couple in Spikes, and the couple in Mountain Rescue. I loved them all.

  17. Shirley Ann Speakman says:

I suppose love is different for everyone that’s why there are so many quotes.
